Resident Doctor
Dr Kang Pei Lin
Dr Kang Pei Lin graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2011. After completing her housemanship in the medical, surgical and paediatric disciplines, she started her residency training working in the emergency and anaesthesiology departments across the island, rendering emergency and acute care to her patients. Her exposure in these areas allowed her to see the importance of preventive and holistic care in her patients and in 2016, she decided to focus her attention on family medicine.
Prior to joining the private sector as a general practitioner, Dr Kang has acquired a wide range of expeiences in managing various medical conditions, both acute and chronic, and across all ages, from newborns to the elderly. Given her years spent in the emergency and anaesthesiology departments, she is adept at blood drawing, line insertions as well as minor surgical procedures like laceration repairs and incision and drainage of abscesses.
Being a mother to three young children, Dr Kang also has a special interest in paediatric medicine and is great at connecting with children who may be fearful of visiting the doctor. Her cheerful disposition never fails to make her patients comfortable and puts them at ease.
Dr Kang practices at 57 Medical Clinic (Geylang Bahru).
