Dr Tammy Kwa graduated with a Bachelor in Medicine, Bachelor in Surgery and Bachelor in Obstetrics from Trinity College, the University of Dublin in 2017. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Family Medicine awarded by the National University of Singapore in 2022. 

 

Dr Kwa has a wealth of experience as a Primary Care physician in the Polyclinic where she was conferred with the Best Medical Officer Award, and has previously worked in a wide range of departments including General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Tuberculosis Control Unit and Emergency Medicine. She is knowledgeable in managing patients of all ages as well as in treating a breadth of acute and chronic diseases. In addition to in-person consultations, she is accredited and well versed in Telemedicine. 

 

She is skilled in performing a large range of procedures including nail wedge resections and avulsions, joint injections, incision and drainage, pap smears, suturing, and simple foreign body removals. 

 

Dr Kwa is passionate about Family Medicine and believes in taking a holistic approach with all her patients. She strives to deliver patient centred-care with an emphasis on patient health education.
